Lamiya Bay is located few kilometers ahead of Kalipur Beach and under the national Park from where the trek to Saddle Peak begins.

Saddle Peak

Saddle peak is the highest point in the Andamans. Located in Diglipur, this peak rises amid thick evergreen jungle, overlooking the breathtaking North Andaman and Middle Andaman coast. As the peak is encircled by a rich bio-diversity natural paradise, it is also known as Saddle Peak National Park. This region is home to around 37 indigenous insect species, more than 13 species of birds as well as 6 species of indigenous trees. The forest is encircled with plentiful, lush green and thick tropical forests, having humid, warm and tropical climate. Saddle Peak National Park is surrounded by moist, tropical vegetation as well as deciduous evergreen forest. The species Scolopia pusilla and Cleistanthus robustus (a form of wild plant) are found in this island that are not found in the mainland India.

Kalipur Beach

Mud Volcanoes Of Shyamnagar

You will have to trek for about 15 minutes to catch sight of the Volcanoes. At the starting stage, you can see the bigger and slumbering volcanoes. Whereas, on proceeding ahead for few more minutes, you can see smaller and newly emerging volcanoes in the landscape.

Alfred Caves

Alfred Caves lie in Diglipur near Ramnagar Beach. The trek is through thick forests that leads to Alfred Caves - a cluster of amazing 41 caves. It is a den for swiftlets and fruit eating bats. The caves with a very narrow entrance, open up into chain of small caves inside. Alfred Caves are the limestone caves with stalactite formations of Diglipur that change their shape every monsoon due to a chemical process. These extremely narrow caves are home to the Swiftlet birds that make a unique edible nest. Alfred Caves has the mystical connected and separated series of 41 unexplored caves that have baffled many an explorer. These caves are amongst the least explored and understood places, but indeed they are among the most beautiful places on earth. The caves though appear very narrow, thin and small from the outside are in reality very long inside. There are caves within caves.

Aerial Bay

Aerial Bay Beach is located in Diglipur, Anaman and provides a picturesque view of surrounding nature. Aerial Bay Beach is also part of Aerial Bay Island which is very close to Keralpuram. This beach surrounded by beautiful coconut trees, evergreen nature, white sandy, and crystal clear water and connected with almost every point of the Andaman.
